On 3rd July I will be talking to David Baddiel about why he is a ‘reluctant atheist’ and about his new book, ‘My Family: The Memoir’. You can attend in person or online.
It’s all for a good cause too. Tickets at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/primrose-hill-lecture-series-6686626015?_gl=1*1qoz0y6*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTU4MjA1NjcuMTcxNDU2OTkxOA..*_ga_TQVES5V6SH*MTcxNDU2OTkxNy4xLjAuMTcxNDU2OTkxNy4wLjAuMA..
You may have noticed that I have changed the title of this newsletter to ‘Acknowledgements’ (would you put the E in or not?)
I put nearly all that I had learned from teaching improv and other communication skills, to leaders and teams, into last year’s book In The Moment. That has been shortlisted for Business Book of the Year. We will find out its fate in September. I have started a regular business newsletter on Linked In, where I put three top tips every month. Please do sign up to that, because I will be doing something different here.
Whenever I read a book, I always turn to the Acknowledgments (does it need that E?) First, to find out a bit more about the author and who has helped her or him in the massive endeavour required to get a book published. I feel I’m at the time of my life where I can look back and thank the people and places and moments that have shaped me. I hope you will enjoy my musings about some more personal things and the episodes that I have experienced thanks to my two careers (showbiz and management training).
I will be at the Festival of Work in London on Wednesday 12th June.
I will be giving a talk at 5pm and signing books at the Kogan Page stand at 3.15pm. Please come and say hello.
Thanks for reading.
Very best
Neil
